A HUNDRED people in the Capital went topless on one of the busiest streets in the city.

They were joining in with thousands around the world in a “Free the Nipple” demonstration as part of International Go Topless Day.

The 100 sunbathed topless outside St Giles’ Cathedral in a demonstration against censorship.

Free the Nipple is part of a movement to relax worldwide laws on female toplessness.

Comedian Samantha Pressdee, 32, from Darlastan, West Midlands, took a break from her show at the Fringe to take part in the event.

She said: “We all came together to celebrate equality.”
