A SCHOOLGIRL suffered agonising burns after friends dared her to try a Jackass-style stunt.

Taylor Wilson, from Bathgate, copied a dangerous prank from the madcap TV show by covering her arms with salt and rubbing them with ice.

The ten-year-old has been scarred for life and may need skin grafts.

She said: “I put salt on my arms then took ice cubes and rubbed them on the salt.

“It was nippy at the start, but then the ice numbs it. Some of my friends who did it have been fine.

“But one night I cried myself to sleep as the pain was so unbearable.”

Taylor and her friends had been watching a YouTube clip featuring Jackass star Johnny Knoxville when they decided to copy the prank.

The next day her skin flared up into painful blistering welts, but she didn’t tell her mum Kelly Drummond. She found out from Taylor’s 12-year-old brother, Declan, and rushed her daughter to the doctors.

Ms Drummond, 36, said: “I was horrified. They said she will be scarred for life. It’s been a silly prank that has very real consequences, and she will regret this when she is older.”
