Hearts star King earns Scotland Under-21 call-up

HEARTS midfielder Billy King has been called up to the Scotland squad for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying matches against Slovakia and Luxembourg.

King, who scored two goals and created one as the Jambos beat Falkirk 4-1 on Saturday, joins Tynecastle team-mates Jack Hamilton, Jordan McGhee and Sam Nicholson in Billy Stark’s set-up.

The young Scots take on the Slovakians in Senec on Thursday and Luxembourg in Differdange next Monday.
