Another busy transfer window has seen Hibs build almost a completely different team over the summer. Closing the gap on the top three and overtaking Hearts in the table will no doubt be the aim with another cup run expected. Now that many of the new faces have had time to adapt to their new surroundings, we feel we can make an accurate prediction on what their best starting line-up looks like.
5. CB - Poppy Lawson
Another defender on top form. Lawson is showing all the signs of a top defender with her performances so far this season. Siobhan Hunter’s return, as well as Joelle Murray's, will certainly provide healthy competition at the back. However, the form of the current pairing makes it impossible to push them out of the line-up as of yet. Credit: (© ScottishPower Women’s Premier League | Malcolm Mackenzie) Photo: Malcolm Mackenzie
6. LB - Mya Christie
The left-back certainly has a great deal of potential. Christie has already linked up well with Tegan Bowie on the wing as they terrorise the opposition's defence. Again, with Hibs’ newfound depth, Sarah Leishman will be knocking on the door if the youngster falls out of favour. Credit: David Mollison Photo: David Mollison
7. RM - Abbie Ferguson
Ferguson is another new signing who has really starred over the last few games. The winger has been a fundamental cog in the team throughout the last month becoming one of their best players. Credit: (© ScottishPower Women’s Premier League | Malcolm Mackenzie) Photo: Malcolm Mackenzie
8. CM - Michaela McAlonie
Perhaps the toughest position to determine. We have got with McAlonie who was fantastic last season but is yet to get a proper run out this campaign due to injury. Naomi Powell has been keeping the midfield spot warm so far but only time will tell who will cement down the spot in the starting 11. Credit: David Mollison Photo: David Mollison
