Hibs today signed winger Danny Carmichael from Queen of the South on a two-year contract.
The-24-year-old was in talks with the Easter Road club for the last two days and has now put pen to paper.
Carmichael has attracted praise for his performances this season as Queen of the South reached the SPFL Championship play-offs, only to lose to Rangers. With his contract at Palmerston Park expired, he has decided to continue his career at Hibs.
Having signed the former Hearts forward James Keatings yesterday, Hibs coach Alan Stubbs is continuing to put together a strong squad for next season. His aim is to try and secure promotion back to the Premiership and Carmichael is seen as a creative player who will provide ammunition for the strikers.
