Team news

Hibs boss Lee Johnson was encouraged by the sight of several recent injury victims, including Rocky Bushiri, Kyle Magennis, Kevin Nisbet, Demi Mitchell and Aiden McGeady in the warm-up at training this week.

Magennis could be involved away to Ross County this weekend for the first time in a year.

Form guide

Hibs have won their last two games in the cinch Premiership, defeating Kilmarnock and Aberdeen at Easter Road before the international break.

Ross County drew consecutive games before the domestic break, they had the misfortune of playing both halves of the Old Firm in the two games which preceded it.

Head-to-head

Hibs lost on their last visit to Dingwall but hadn’t been beaten there in any of their previous seven trips. It’s three victories in 14 in the fixture for the Staggies since their 2016 League Cup final victory over Alan Stubbs’ side at Hampden Park.

Match officials

Alan Muir will be the lead official for this contest. The whistler was involved in a controversial encounter involving Hibs in March last year as they lost to Aberdeen. The visitors gave away two penalties and had Ryan Porteous sent off. The official apologised to then-manager Shaun Maloney after the match for the award of the first spot-kick, which came off Bushiri’s knee before striking his arm.

Manager thoughts

"I honestly don't think we've had a clean run at it, nowhere near it," said Johnson. "If you think of all those players, think of the players we've signed and when we signed them, players coming in with different fitness levels and work permit issues, it's quite exciting in terms of the potential we have moving forward
