Tynecastle FC have announced that Steven Vinter will manage the clubs East of Scotland side from next season, with Rangers defender Lee Wallace joining the backroom team.

Vinter is currently serving as the clubs interim manager following the departure of Stephen McKenzie last month, assisted by club chairman Dougie Dalgleish and goalkeeping coach Fraser McLeod.

Following an internal review of the clubs management structure, Vinter, who has previously managed the clubs Under 21 team, has agreed to take charge and will be assisted by former Hearts and Dundee United striker Scott Crabbe, who began his playing career at the boys club.

Former Hearts left-back Wallace has joined the backroom team and whilst his professional commitments will not always allow him to attend training sessions, his presence is a real coup for the Fernieside club.

Fraser McLeod will continue in his role as goalkeeping coach for next season, with Ross Vinter also remaining as part of the technical team.
