Coronavirus in Scotland: Nine new confirmed cases of Covid-19

The Scottish Government update shows that nine new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed across the country in the last 24 hours.

This brings the total number of positive cases to 18, 296.

Last night, there were 424 patients in hospital with either confirmed or suspected coronavirus, 11 of whom were in intensive care.

2, 488 people have died after testing positive with the virus, though the number in the last few 24 hours have not been updated due to a technical error.
