The Pakora Bar, Hanover Street
If Indian street food with great music and vibes is what you're after then this is the place to go. The Pakora Bar is centrally located and trades from 11am until 3am on Friday and Saturday nights.

Hide AdHaggis, chicken, mixed vegetable, cauliflower and aubergine pakoras are all on offer. You can also enjoy some tasty kofta kebabs, pakora wraps and spicy chips, among various other types of punjabi street food on offer.

This Leith favourite late night bakery is open 24 hours a day. Some might say it's a Leith institution.

Bar Napoli, Hanover Street
This restaurant is famed for its late night food, particularly as it's positioned so close to some of the Capital's favourite bars and clubs in George Street.

Hide AdBar Napoli's website says that for more than three decades, they've been serving Edinburgh's residents and visitors a combination of modern and classic Italian dishes, complemented by an extensive wine list and buzzing atmosphere.
From Sunday to Thursday they serve food until 1am and on Friday and Saturday nights they open until 3am. The last half hour of the late night service is for takeaway only.

Papilio, Bruntsfield

Hide AdThis Italian restaurant in Bruntsfield only opens until 10:30pm each day but reader Jennifer Lang gave it her vote. She said: "Papilio in Bruntsfield is excellent."
The restaurant's Facebook page says the team at Papilio believe there are two essential ingredients in running a successful business - great food and great service.
It's offerings range from stuffed pasta to steak, chicken, fish and veal dishes. They also have plenty of vegetarian options, risotto and a wide range of pizzas.
