My Grandparents’ War is back and tonight’s episode will feature the actress Keira Knightley.
The Channel 4 show sees celebrities look back at their grandparents’ stories from the wartime and in the latest episode, Keira Knightley will discover her Grandfather Mac helped save 700 Irish guards off the coast of Norway.

Kit Harington discovered in My Grandparents’ War that his grandfather John was in charge of one of the most controversial spy operations of the 20th century.
John’s role was to surveil the Duke and Duchess of Windsor to make sure that the former King who had abdicated from the throne in 1935 was not secretly in league with the Nazis.

She was raised in Alford, Aberdeenshire and studied at the University of Glasgow where she obtained a degree in clinical science.
The following year she was featured on "Never Be Your Woman" by the rapper Wiley, which was another top ten hit. In 2012, she received the Brit Awards’ Critics’ Choice Award
