After making the arrest, officers said they were keen to speak with two females who were seen near an ATM on Easter Road shortly before the crash.

They have now released images of two women, who they believe have useful information about the incident.

The first woman is described as being white, aged between 30-40 years, with a large build and blonde hair with darker roots tied up in a bun. On the night of the crash, she was wearing glasses, light clothing, and was carrying two full “bags for life” and a mobile phone.
