Police appeal after house robberies in Armandale area

West Lothian Police has issued an appeal for information after several break-ins and robberies in the Armandale area.

The robberies occurred between midday and 7pm on Saturday April 11, mainly in McAfee Gardens, Kerr’s Way and the surrounding streets.

A male suspect is described as white, wearing a blue hoodie and tracksuit bottoms, with black trainers and a blue hat.

Constable Dale Heatlie, of Bathgate Police Station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area overnight or in the early hours of Saturday to get in touch with police.

“We would also ask that if anyone has any CCTV footage or dash cam footage from the area to contact us, as they may have information that will assist our investigation.”

“We would like to remind residents in the area to remain vigilant and ensure that houses, outbuildings and motor vehicles are kept secure.”

He asked anyone with information to contact police on 101 with incident number 0822 of April 11.
