Get your baubles, tinsel and fairy lights out, folks! Scotland’s Home of the Year are looking for locals to feature in their Christmas edition.

In a festive spin on the popular TV show, the judges have started the search for Scotland's Christmas Home of the Year 2024, which will be revealed in a new series due to broadcast this December.

In an hour-long Christmas special on BBC One Scotland, Bay Tree House in the Willowbrae area of Edinburgh was crowned last year's winner, with interior designers Anna Campbell-Jones, Banjo Beale and architect Danny Campbell praised the properties festive flair and Christmas spirit.

If you have a stunning festive home you want to share with the world this Christmas, applications are open now.

The show's producers said: “From flats to farmhouses, cottages to castles, and maisonettes to mansions, if you’re crazy about Christmas, then the BBC want to hear from you.”

Judge Campbell-Jones told the Edinburgh Evening News: “Each year the ante is upped and I fully expect to have my mind boggled (or should that be baubled?!) this year.

“As always, I’m looking for clever tricks and homemade marvels that are kind to both pocket and planet – but most of all I want to be dazzled by the homeowners’ originality and personal style.”
