The lines have reopened but services are still experiencing delays
Trains to and from Edinburgh are disrupted on Tuesday afternoon after police attended an incident near the railway in the South Gyle area.
At around 2.40pm, ScotRail announced both lines were closed, disrupting trains between Edinburgh and Perth, Aberdeen, Dundee, Cowdenbeath and Levan.

The lines have now reopened, but passengers are still reporting delays to services.
At 3pm, a ScotRail spokesperson said: “Services are returning to normal but some services will still be delayed. Please continue to use our app and website for service information.”
The nature of the incident is not yet known. Police Scotland has been contacted for further information.
