Fans of the ITV dating show have been starved of hearing “I’ve got a text!” and “Can I grab you for a chat?” for far too long thanks to the pandemic cancelling last summer’s edition.
And the newest members of the villa have also been announced, with Scots pleased to see that one of their own, model Shannon Singh, will be flying to Mallorca to try her luck at finding love.
5. Laura Anderson
Laura, from Stirling, became one of the most recognisable faces during the fourth season of the show. The 32-year-old former air hostess was another Scot who was unlucky in love, coupling up with Wes Nelson, Jack Fowler and then Paul Knops, although the runner-up couple parted ways shortly after leaving the villa. She’s now living her best life in Dubai.
6. Biggs Chris
Hailing from Glasgow, Chris entered the show’s Casa Amor villa as a bombshell during the winter edition of Love Island. Despite his good chat, the 29-year-old was dumped from the island only three days later. He got together with fellow contestant Rebecca Gormely, from Newcastle, after the show and the pair remain together.
7. Wallace Wilson
Wallace, a personal trainer from Inverness, also appeared on Winter Love Island in South Africa. The 25-year-old made a bit of a stir when he entered on day 16 and took three of the girls on a date. Unfortunately, he was voted off by the other islanders only three days later. He’s still a personal trainer and works with Scots modelling agency Colours.
8. Jamie McCann
Ayrshire beauty Jamie was another Scot to join Casa Amor during the winter series. However, the eyelash technician, 24, failed to couple up with any of the boys and was dumped from the island three days later. Since leaving, she has a successful YouTube channel and has worked with popular clothing brands.
