Edinburgh is no stranger to the big screen, with classic films and TV programmes having been filmed or set here. Many will know of classics like Sunshine on Leith, Trainspotting and Hallam Foe as well as more recent films including the ninth instalment of Fast and the Furious and Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.

The 2013 film tells the story of Edinburgh soldiers returning home from a tour of Afghanistan and the struggles they face settling into normal life after serving in war.
