The Scottish Labour leader took a short break from his campaigning to join the Saltire Burlesque Academy's open-air dance class in the car park of Livingston FC’s Tony Macaroni Arena – and delighted onlookers even gave the MSP a round of applause for his efforts.
The 38-year-old’s campaign director later shared the video on social media.
He wrote: “When you’re on a campaign visit with @AnasSarwar and there’s a dance class going on. He couldn’t resist.”
And Sarwar himself couldn't resist giving himself a pat on the back, tagging Uptown Funk singer Bruno Mars in a Twitter post that read: ‘Don’t believe me, just watch @BrunoMars’.
Sarwar, who was selected as new head of Scottish Labour in March, is travelling around the country campaigning ahead of the Scottish election on May 6.
