Emergency services are in attendance after a lorry crashed in West Lothian.

The crash took place between junction two and three on the M9, near Linlithgow. Two lanes were closed as a result of the incident and drivers are facing delays.

Traffic Scotland have warned that restrictions are in place and drivers should be cautious on approach.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.35am on Wednesday, 18 January, 2023, police were called to the M9 near junction 3, following a report of a one-vehicle crash. Recovery is ongoing.”

The AA route planner also warned of debris on the road as well as a fuel spillage.
