Slateford Road: Reports of huge delays in Edinburgh as Scottish Power repairs get underway

Roadworks have caused huge delays in the Edinburgh as drivers are warned to allow extra time for travel.

Edinburgh Travel News have warned drivers to leave extra time for their journey on Friday.

Scottish Power repairs got underway on Thursday night and temporary traffic lights have been put up at Shandon Place.

The traffic is tailed back to the Chesser area as traffic is building.

If it is possible for drivers to take a different route, they should do so.
