Woman, 43, found dead at property in Edinburgh's Saughton Mains as police probe 'unexplained' death

A woman has been found dead at a property in Saughton Mains in Edinburgh.
Police officers were called to the address on Saughton Mains Terrace at around 6.15pm on Tuesday, September 8.
They found a 43-year-old woman dead inside the property.
Her death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.15pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, we were made aware of the death of a 43-year-old woman at a property on Saughton Mains Terrace in Edinburgh.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
