Edinburgh weather: Exact time 50mph winds are forecast to hit as yellow warning issued
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for strong winds, with gusts of up to 50mph forecast for Edinburgh
Edinburgh is braced for another spell of strong winds, with gusts of up to 50mph forecast as a yellow warning has been issued.
The Met Office warning will be in place from 3am until 9pm on Tuesday, October 27, with residents facing an 18-hour period of potentially disruptive weather.

The latest warning comes after Scotland experienced a brutal weekend, tackling two storms in quick succession: Storm Austen brining in heavy rain and strong winds before Storm Boelo swept in over the weekend.
Storm Austen affected Edinburgh on Friday, bringing heavy rainfall and lots of flooding, while Storm Boelo brought further unsettled conditions into Sunday - winds so strong that planes were struggling to land at Edinburgh Airport.

Now, attention is turning to the next spell of strong winds that is expected to hit Edinburgh at 3am Tuesday morning.
Edinburgh is expected to receive gusts of up to 50mph, with heavy rain due to follow at around 11am.
Travel disruption is likely to continue with journeys taking longer, as well as the possibility of more areas around Edinburgh losing power.
Residents are advised to check the latest Met Office forecast before travelling, as strong winds are likely to cause disruption.
