'Winning the league in style' - Hearts fan love the club's new 'Inter Milan' third kit
Hearts fans have been calling for the club to give them an Inter Milan style top due to the popularity of the team’s 1993/94 away kit and it has been delivered.
While the strip is never going to win over every fan, this afternoon’s release has gone down very positively with most supporters.
The kit is slightly darker than the one from the 90s, while it also features a graphic of Tynecastle Park.
With the kit going on sale on Thursday it is expected to be popular.
@maroonspecs: “Sentimental montages featuring Craig Gordon and Scott Hutchison, partnering with an incredibly worthy charitable cause, the bloody Inter top! Stop winning me over again @JamTarts! Brora? What’s that?”
@KACossar: “Not normally a fan of a "3rd strip" but this is a belter. Looking forward to the Home Strip announcement in a few weeks. Might just be time to buy myself a new one…”
@jameschristie2: “I turn 40 at the end of the month and have been banned by Mrs C on buying myself things for months….this doesn’t count right? Tell me it doesn’t count @jamtarts”
@cameronduffy51: “If you think I’m spending fifty quid on this. Then you are absolutely correct.”
@TeamGentr: “Inter Midlothian has arrived, and I'm here for it. Awesome.”
@F0xtr0t0scar: “Heart of Midlothian, I LOVE YOU”
@C82Design: “Really like this. I can already picture us losing a late goal up at Dens wearing it! Good times!”
@gmchmfc: “What a top, Hearts finally listening.”
@PantsShaton: “They’ve only gone and done what we asked for and (controversy to follow) it’s a better colour and of superior quality compared to the 1994 version.”
@Matthew_aliT: “We’re winning the league this year in style.”
@CharlieJones__: “We might be bottom 6 next season but we’ll look good doing it.”
@bvs_cj_villain: “Is this Hearts thinking if we look similar to Inter we may play like Inter?”
@HeartsThough: “Why do Hearts want to make me so skint I’m obsessed.”
@CameronWanstall: “You can’t tell me this isn’t the greatest kit ever produced.”
@arctic_jambo: “Don't really care as I never buy football kits, but wouldn't look out of place on a Sunday league team IMO.”
