The boy, who wishes to remain anonymous, spent weeks designing the Tynecastle stadium on the Playstation 4 during lockdown with his best friend, but worries about what fellow Hearts fans would make of it.

The 10-year-old season ticket holder said he fears a backlash if his model is not accurate enough, and thinks it would be “embarrassing”.

Despite his concerns, he is still happy with what they have achieved.

Photos of his design show a startling attention to detail - including the pattern of the Hearts logo on the stadium seating, and even his favourite players in their kick off positions on the pitch.Photos of his design show a startling attention to detail - including the pattern of the Hearts logo on the stadium seating, and even his favourite players in their kick off positions on the pitch.

The model also includes a warren of corridors and rooms inside the stadium itself.

“The part I am most proud of is the overall scale of it and the lighting at night time,” the 10-year-old told the Evening News, “my friend’s favourite part is the outside roof exterior as he took ages on that part.”

He said their favourite part of the process was seeing how good the Roseburn stand turned out after hours of work.

“We both were very happy very late at night lol”

And does the Minecraft-mad modeller have any other grand designs up his sleeve?

“Nothing in the pipeline,” his proud father says. Instead, he is keen to get back to his favourite real-world sport: basketball.
