Hospitality and tourism businesses were hit with the fastest operating cost rises of any UK sector last month amid soaring rates of food and energy inflation, a key survey today reveals.
The UK economy grew by a “robust” 4.8 per cent in the three months to the end of June as lockdown restrictions eased, getting people back into bars and restaurants.
