While Edinburgh becomes the comedy capital of the world every August for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, there are some great comedians who come here and never leave.
As anyone who spends any time in our city centre during August knows, during the festival month you can’t walk across George IV Bridge without bumping into several comedians. But who are the stand-ups that call this festival city ‘home’ all year round?
We've taken a look at the comedians who currently live in Edinburgh, including Daniel Sloss, Liam Withnail, Jay Lafferty and Jo Caulfield.

9. Will Naameh
Will Naameh, perhaps better known as MC Hammersmith, is a multi-award winning freestyle rap comedian. He is the world's leading gangsta rapper to ever emerge from the ghetto of middle class west London. Having moved to Edinburgh for university he has made the city his home. He presents an evening of improvised comedy raps based entirely on your suggestions. You'll leave astounded at the speed of his brain, the spontaneity of his punchlines, and the stability of his upbringing. 10. Krystal Evans
Krystal Evans, all the way from the USA, has travelled the furthest of all the performers on this list to make Edinburgh her home. She performed her debut hour of stand up at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe to rapturous reviews. Krystal has previously appeared on BBC’s Comedy Underground, Scot Squad, Breaking the News, BBC New Comedy Award, Bad Influencer with Mark Nelson and Socially Distant with Susan Calman. She has also supported both Stewart Francis and Zoe Lyons on their UK tours. | Flick Morris PR Photo: Flick Morris PR
