New dedicated theatre guide launches for Edinburgh audiences
Since LondonTheatre1.com launched back in 2011, we've spent the last 14 months building out a network of regional theatre sites — 18 so far, from Edinburgh to Torquay, each built around a local flagship venue, plus a UK-wide touring show tracker. Alongside that, we're publishing 500+ reviews a year across the network — including annual coverage of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe — via a team of around 21 reviewers, and we're actually looking to grow that further, since demand from productions wanting reviews is currently outpacing what we can cover.

TheatreinEdinburgh.co.uk is one of those 18, built around the Edinburgh Playhouse — the UK's largest all-seated theatre — giving Edinburgh audiences a dedicated local resource for world-class touring productions and shows year-round, alongside our long-running Fringe coverage each August. The regions themselves were chosen based on where we already had ticket-selling activity, so each launched with a genuine local audience already in place.
We're also welcoming news items, Q&As and interview opportunities from productions and venues across the regional network — so if any of your contacts are looking for coverage, happy to help there too.

"LondonTheatre1 was built to bring news, reviews, interviews and tickets to theatregoers, cast and creatives — originally focused on London. Bringing that same approach to towns and cities across the UK, each built around its own local venue, felt like the natural next step."
