With so many shows taking place across the city, it can be difficult to decide what acts to see, so we’ve taken a look at some of the shows to watch our for this year.
5. Siapa Yang Bawa Melayu Aku Pergi? (Who Took My Malay Away?)
This play is a powerful love letter to Singapore, the country of Faizal Abdullah’s birth and where he spent the first 34 years of his life. Taking the form of a performance-lecture, this bold new work addresses themes of colonisation, identity, indigenous displacement and the loss of cultural heritage and language.

Twenty-nine-year-old Leith- born Frankie Mack has had phenomenal success in his four years performing and has just returned from a very successful trip to Las Vegas where he performed his debut at the world famous Tropicana, and performed at several Las Vegas shows, recording music with a high profile Vegas producer. Career highlights including many sell out gigs throughout the UK and Tenerife with his Hibs Club gig selling out in 20 minutes.

Ruby is an American comic and actress, she will be bringing her one woman show, Tragedy, over for her big UK debut. This show will see Ruby take audiences on a journey of the tragic and macabre, exploring all things glamour, addiction and fame while blending in some dark gothic songs.
