Emergency services were called just after 11 this morning to an incident on the city centre bridge.

A cordon had been erected, closing off the road between Dean Bridge and Oxford Terrace, however the road has since been reopened.

Lothian Buses services 19, 36, 37, 41, 43, 47 and 113 had been diverted.

Police Scotland have yet to release a statement.
