Andy Murray to ‘lift the lid on his biggest moments’ in new show at Edinburgh Playhouse

Tennis superstar Sir Andy Murray will embark on a different kind of tour next year, replacing centre court for centre stage in a show that documents his journey in the world of tennis.

Coming to the Edinburgh Playhouse in June 2025, the 37-year-old will reflect on his illustrious career that includes three Grand Slam titles and two Olympic gold medals. Titled, Centre Stage, the UK tour will also play dates in Glasgow and London.

Murray, who retired from professional tennis following the Olympic Games in Paris this year, will ‘lift the lid on his biggest moments’ with organisers behind the event stating: “This is a rare opportunity to hear first-hand from one of the world’s most beloved and entertaining athletes.”

The show will see the former world No. 1 in conversation with sports broadcaster Andrew Cotter, where he shares stories and ‘untold moments’ from his remarkable career.

Writing on social media, Andy Murray said: “I am stepping onto a different stage this Summer. Come and see me on my first ever theatre tour, with Andrew Cotter, in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Hammersmith and Wimbledon.”

Centre Stage will arrive at the Edinburgh Playhouse on June 19, 2025. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, November 14. You can get tickets via the Andy Murray website or the ATG website
