Zayn Malik Edinburgh: Former One Direction star Zayn Malik to visit Edinburgh on first solo tour

The 31-year-old pop superstar will perform at the Capital's O2 Academy on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. He will also play shows in Leeds, Manchester, London and Wolverhampton as part of a six-date UK tour.

Announcing the gigs on social media, Zayn wrote: “STAIRWAY TO THE SKY TOUR 2024. Appreciate your patience, love, and support. Can’t wait to enjoy great music together.

“This time I really mean soon, see you in 35 days…. Tickets on sale Saturday but VIP Key holders will get first access to tickets beginning tomorrow.”

The gigs will mark the first time he’s toured since he was in the iconic X-Factor formed boyband.After leaving One Direction in 2015. He's gone on to release four albums - Mind of Mine (2016), Icarus Falls (2018), Nobody Is Listening (2021) and Room Under The Stairs (2024).

His latest release sees the Bradford-born singer take a new direction, ditching his R&B pop sound.for a newfound country sound.

Tickets for the tour will be available through an exclusive pre-sale on the ZAYN VIP Key app on Thursday, September 19. Meanwhile, general tickets will be available from Saturday, September 21.

Last summer, former One Direction member Harry Styles played massive outdoor dates at the Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, as part of his global Love On Tour.
