Olympics: Capital canoeist David Florence claims silver

CAPITAL canoeist David Florence has won a silver medal in the C2 event at the Rio Olympics today.

Florence, 34, teamed up with Richard Hounslow in the doubles event as they added to the silver they won in 2012.

For Florence, the achievement makes up for the bitter disappointment he felt when finishing last in the singles (C1) final on Tuesday.
