With five cast members from hit BBC Scotland show Still Game announcing they will hold a special ‘audience with’ event at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh later this year, we’ve taken a look at some of the funniest moments from the Glasgow pensioners.
The award-winning sitcom about the Craiglang old team ran from 2002 until 2007 when its creators and lead actors Ford Kiernan Greg Hemphill fell out, before returning in 2016 and running until 2019 when the main characters Jack and Victor died in an emotional final episode. As well as nine series on television, the show also enjoyed successful outings on stage, playing an incredible 46 sold out shows at the Hydro in Glasgow over three runs.
We relive some of the iconic Scottish TV show’s greatest funny moments, including Jack and Victory retrieving a pot of pee, the introduction of Methadone Mick and the Clansman pub quiz.

When Jack and Victor go to check on a friend who has just lost his wife, the pair have to lift a pot of pee from under their friend's bed. Victor pretends to drop the pot all over Jack with an empty pot, before picking up the correct pot and then tripping on a rug leaving Jack soaked in urine! Photo: John Devlin

When Jack, Victor, Isa and Winston get trapped in the lift at Osprey Heights on Hogmanay a group of neds offer to help them for £10, with one of the neds then saying "feeches", with Jack replying "aye, feeches tae you tae son". The ned then puts him straight: "NAW, a tennur fae each ae yees!" Photo: John Devlin

7. People Huv Tae Know!
When a breathless Isa bursts into Navid's corner shop, he calmly places a brown paper bag over her head, explaining to Tam: "I've seen this before, it's gossip overload." Once the bag is removed, Isa reveals a bombshell about Jack and Victor that she witnessed while snooping through the letter box. Photo: Alan Peebles/ BBC

8. Hillwalkers
Actor Gary Lewis made a guest appearance in the last ever episode as Rab (centre), a pub landlord near Ben Lomond. The gang go to see Rab, who's an old friend of Shug, to get some hill climbing gear as they plan to climb the Scottish mountain. Rab spooks the Craiglang old team with tales of his times in the territorial army with Shug, with Winston taking a whack on the leg to show how tough he is but ended up being hit on the one leg he still has and not his metal one!
