Burns Night will be very different this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate it in style.

It's been a terrible 10 months for our hospitality industry as the pandemic has put many Capital businesses to the very brink - some have even been forced to close.

Which is why it’s so important to support local. So why not do so while enjoying a tasty meal and toasting to Rabbie Burns?

We’ve put together a list of Edinburgh businesses which are offering something special this Burns Night.

This family-run Italian restaurant is offering a “fantastic” three course menu to bring “excitement and joy at a time where we really need it!”

It costs £30 for three courses – including smoked salmon, neeps and tatties, Campbell’s Haggis and a vegetarian option – with a nip of whisky, of course.

They’ve also curated a Spotify playlist full of Scottish artists to listen to while you dine.

Cafe Dominico in Leith is offering a Burns Night three course dinner.

McLarens on the corner

This restaurant in Morningside Road has put together a Burns Supper Club to celebrate the big night.

It promises to champion Scottish provenance and honour our nation’s cuisine.

Pentland Pies is offering a "high quality family value meal" for Burns Night.

The menu includes black pudding bon bons, Fife bannock, beef wellington, bread and butter pudding, and a Scottish cheeseboard, as well as Highland Park whisky and a unique glass.

It’s available Monday to Friday for £40 per person and can be ordered online here.

Cafe St Honore

‘One of Edinburgh’s best-kept secrets,’ this bistro in North West Thistle Street is offering a Burns Night at Home experience, for collection only, this Friday and Saturday.

It includes a nip of single malt whisky, sourdough with smoked mackerel pate, crispy haggis bonbon, Scotch beef and vegetable stew, cheese and chutney, cheesecake, and artisan roast coffee.

Everything will keep will in the fridge for two days, and it costs £37.50 per person. Find them on Facebook here.

Cafe Dominico

This Leith restaurant is offering a ready-to-eat three course Burns Night dinner for two for £55.

Options include haggis bonbons; haggis, neeps and gnocchi; haggis-stuffed chicken, and more. And you can wash it all down with a flight of whisky and tasting experience.

Dine

This brasserie, based in Sandport Street, is offering a three course meal for two and a bottle of wine to share for £49.

Whether you fancy the classic haggis or beef hotpot, they are offering home deliveries.
