Ticketmaster has announced a major ticket change for fans heading to Taylor Swift's Eras tour UK shows.
The US superstar, 34, will play sell-out gigs at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on June 7, 8 and 9 as part of her world tour which kicked off last March. She will then continue on to Liverpool, Cardiff, London and Dublin throughout June before later returning to the English capital for five additional shows.

The shows were originally meant to be a ‘lead booker’ event, meaning the cardholder who bought the tickets would have to attend the gig in person. This had many parents who had bought tickets for their kids in a panic, as it meant they’d have to go along to the show, otherwise the other ticketholders would risk not getting in.
Now, however, Ticketmaster has announced a major U-turn after confirming that the ‘lead booker’ policy is no longer in place. The company sent an email which said: ‘The 'lead booker' policy has been removed, meaning that the person whose name is on the Ticketmaster account used to purchase tickets is no longer required to attend the event. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. We hope you enjoy the show!’
In other news, it was announced earlier this week that Swift has become a billionaire. According to Forbes magazine, the singer has accumulated 1.1 billion US dollars (£875 million), based on earnings from her Eras Tour and the worth of her pop music catalogue.

The business magazine believes Swift’s wealth is made up of roughly 500 million dollars (£398 million) from royalties and touring and a similar amount from the worth of her musical works. An additional 125 million dollars (£99 million) comes from her property portfolio.
She joins French luxury brand LVMH owner Bernard Arnault, who claims the number one spot as the wealthiest person globally with about 233 billion dollars (£185 billion).
