Jolene joined the Evening News team in October 2020 after reporting and editing as a freelance for several years across the EEN, Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday. A journalist with years experience in both a print newsroom and in community radio, Jolene has a solid background in sourcing strong exclusives particularly in health and housing. Described by bosses as 'a safe pair of hands' and 'Leith's answer to Lois Lane' Jolene loves getting her teeth into investigative and human interest stories. Previously Jolene ran a successful PR company for almost 20 years.
